You can take a photo that contains the colors you like:

And the tool returns a palette of its colors, complete with the hexcode equivalents.

Meaning, you could take a photograph and design a website around it. Or convert the web colors to ink, and design a magazine or a book. I suppose it is possible to convert the hex to paint and fabric, put you'd probably have to just print out the palette and bring it to the store with you. (Provided your printer was properly calibrated.)
