There are several beautiful buildings in downtown Riverside. I didn't take any photos of them, besides the Inn.
Many of them are Mission Revival, some of them are Nineteenth-Century genres with horrible 60s re-muddling at the ground floor.
The county courthouse is a wonderful Neo-Classical with Justice statues atop the cupolae.
We saw one new modern building, and it took a while to realize what function it fills.
This is the Riverside County jail.
I should have known. Before coming upon it, we passed this row of bail bondsmen and the OutLaw Cafe.
